Ordering Repeat Prescriptionsmedicine_bottle

In the interests of patient safety we will no longer accept repeat prescription requests by telephone.

You do not need to see or speak to a doctor or nurse to order repeat prescriptions unless they specifically ask you to come in and see them.

Each time you get a prescription you will be given a computerised prescription re-ordering slip. Repeat prescriptions can be ordered by ticking the appropriate items on the right hand side of the prescription print out and dropping them into the prescription post box at the medical centre.

You can order repeat prescriptions by the following methods:

1. Standard Website Form...

From our website by completing a form to submit via the internet...

Click here to access the online Repeat Prescription Form

2. By Hand or by Post...

When you require a repeat medication you should return the counterfoil (Part B) to us indicating which items you require by putting a clear tick in the box next to the description of the medication.  You can do this by handing it in to yopru local pharmacy or bringing it to the medical centre.  If you want us to pass your prescription on to a local pharmacy so that you can collect your medications without coming to the surgery to collect the prescription, please circle your preference. Please enclose a stamped self addressed envelope if you wish your prescription to be posted back to you.

3. EMIS ACCESS...

If you are registered for EMIS Access you can order your repeats online from within your own medical record by clicking the link below  (find out more about EMIS Access here) .

The only EMIS Access feature that our patients can use at present is the repeat medications ordering facility.
